A plush doll character, for visual effects in a live action short film project.
Design is loosely inspired from the cover art of an old book. I modeled it in Blender and rendered with Cycles. Hair is made of combed particles. The character is fully rigged, with simulated hair dynamics.
Hair particles had to be simplified in quantity and detail in order to complete the VFX on schedule, and so some minor realism was sacrificed.
